Richard E. Fearon, Jr. founded Accretive Capital Partners in March
2000, targeting undervalued small and micro-cap public companies which represent
attractive take-private candidates. Accretive

Lipper, and Barclay Managed Funds, among others, and was recipient of HFM Week Magazine’s
2011 Best Single Manager Long-Term
Performance award among all United States hedge funds under $250 million.
From 1993 until 2000, Mr. Fearon was a Principal at Allied Capital Corporation, a $4 billion private equity investment fund and the oldest publicly-traded business development company in the United States, until acquired by Ares Capital Corporation in 2010. He founded and ran Allied Capital’s Chicago office and was the Managing Partner of Allied Capital Midwest. Previously, he was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley & Co. and PaineWebber Incorporated. Mr. Fearon earned an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of Business in 1993, where he served on the Wharton Dean’s Graduate Student Advisory Committee. He attended the Stockholm School of Economics in 1992 and received his BA with a double-major in Chemistry and Anthropology from Williams College in 1988. He was a 1984 graduate of the Hopkins School, where he was a Connecticut State and All-New England Wrestling Champion and was inducted into the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame as a Scholar-Athlete.
Mr. Fearon is a member of the Board of Directors of Nutrastar International Inc. (Nasdaq: NUIN) and has served on the Board of 15 private companies including, most recently, as Chairman of the Board of Magna Card, Inc., where he was awarded United States Patent 7225568 for new product development. He lives in Madison, CT with his wife, Aisling, and three children, Maggie, Rich, and Caitlin.

D. Blake Bartolomei - Associate

Blake Bartolomei is an Associate at Accretive Capital Partners. He joined the firm in May 2011 as an Analyst and was promoted to Lead Analyst in 2012, with responsibilities for selecting, training, and managing interns and coordinating internship projects, before becoming an Associate in 2013.
Previously, Mr. Bartolomei worked as an Analyst in the investment banking division of the Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. Prior to that, he was a Senior Associate with the University Venture Fund and was awarded the University Venture Fund Scholarship for distinguished work among his peers. Mr. Bartolomei earned a BS in Business Management from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University, where he graduated with honors and was awarded the merit-based Brigham Young Scholarship. He was elected Vice-President of the Investment Banking Club and was appointed Director in the Marriott School Undergraduate Student Association. He was a 2007 graduate of Sierra High School, where he was elected Student Body President and received the Northern California Scholarship Award. From 2008 until 2010, Mr. Bartolomei devoted two years of his life teaching English and sharing family values in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
